Title : An Interactive Vacancy And Benefits System .
The aim of this project is to automate and rationalize a job seeking and vacancy system that is currently mostly paper based and rather unreliable . The system will be based on a SQL Server back end connected to a web-based interface using ASP.Net and VB.Net .
The system will
allow customers to :
- Post a CV .
- Search online for a particular vacancy based on a list of different areas of work (customer advisor) .
- Search online for a vacancy based on a location (customer advisor in Leeds) .
- Search online for full/part time vacancies and/or temporary/permanent vacancies .
- Search online for a vacancy by entering relevant search criteria (customer can enter salesman and then enter a town that is not listed and do a search) .
- Search online for vacancies that have been put on the system today .
- Automatically receive information on new/relevant job vacancies .
- Access customer details .
- Enter required customer information .
- Access job information for posts that can't be fully disclosed online .
- Ascetain that persons claiming job-seekers allowance have satisfied the criteria for the claim .
